How do we compare online dating sites?
We conduct our online dating site comparisons in a very regimented fashion so that we don’t give any favoritism to any site unfairly. First, we identify two sites that are similar in what types of singles they cater to. We then take those sites and compare them across a list of criteria. That list includes:
- Quality and Quantity of Singles
- User Friendliness
- Features
- Price
- Customer Support
- Overall Experience
We’ll give you the dating site that we think excels the most in each category and has the most to offer you. In the end, we may or may not choose to give you an overall winner. Why? Well, sometimes a lot of this is going to come down to personal preference. As we mentioned in one of our blog posts, there is no number one dating site because so much of it has to do with personal preference and what you specifically are looking for.
We try and make our comparisons in a way that they help the greatest number of people. There will be times, though, that one site blows another out of the water. In those situations, we’re most certainly going to tell you who we think the overall winner is. We want you to be getting the most bang for your buck when it comes to online dating. This means protecting you from wasting money on a site that is subpar and doesn’t offer you exactly what you’re looking for.
Important Things to Remember
The most important thing for you to remember about our vs. matchups is that just because we pick a site as a winner does not mean the other site is not worth your time. In fact, most of our “runners-up” are high-quality sites. There certainly are some sites that are duds, but we will make sure to clearly lay that out for you.
Additionally, if you’re able to, joining multiple online dating sites can sometimes be the best option. You do need to be aware of how much time you have to dedicate to the process, so you don’t wear yourself too thin. F most people with some time available, though, this is definitely feasible.
Remember as well, if you’re really not sure you should take advantage of our dating site free trials to poke your head around. We have arranged free trials at all the major online dating sites as well as many that you may not have heard of yet. These free trials allow you to “see for yourself” which site is best for you. Ultimately, this is the best course of action, but we put these vs. matchups here because we know that sometimes time is a precious commodity.
