Miss Travel is an innovative online dating site that allows members to travel together. With an account, you create trips or put in trips that you are wanting to go on somewhere in the world. These could be trips you already have planned or ones that you are interested in taking. When you create the trip, you can select whether or not you plan to pay for the trip, would like someone else to pay for the trip, or are looking to split the costs with a potential date.
If someone is interested in your trip, they’ll let you know! Or, if you’re interested in someone else’s trip, you can let them know! It’s an interesting concept and spin on the online dating world. Miss Travel is trying to get people to take the ultimate leap of faith and travel with other singles or come visit them where they live.
The membership costs at Miss Travel are very straightforward. If you pay for a membership, you are given full access to all of the features of the site. This includes the ability to message with other members all over the world, browse matches invisibly (without them knowing you are looking), have featured trips show up in member’s dashboards, and get “first dibs” on new members who are added to the site.
Are there any additional fees or costs to use Miss Travel?
Nope! Once you purchase a membership, you are a full-fledged member and have access to all the features of the site. The only time that you would be paying for something else is if you decide to pay for someone else’s trip or if you decide to split the costs of a trip. None of this is handled through the site, though, and will be taken care of offline after you exchange contact information and decide on a trip.
As per the membership, though, the above fees are all that you will pay.
Renewals and Cancelling Your Miss Travel Account
Your Miss Travel account will be set up to renew automatically once you create your account. If you don’t want to renew, though, it’s not a problem. All you need to do is go into your Settings, select Subscriptions, and select Cancel. The good news is that when you cancel you still get to use out the rest of your current paid membership. If you’re someone who is worried about the renewal and is worried about forgetting, you can go in and click the cancel button on day one and you’ll still be set to use your Miss Travel account for the duration of time that you paid for. If you want to renew after that, you can easily do so.
Is Miss Travel Worth it?
Whether or not Miss Travel is worth it or not comes down to what you’re looking for. If you’re someone who is looking for a conventional dating path and doesn’t like to take chances, this site is not going to be for you. If you’re someone who likes to live life by the seat of your pants and is ok with taking wild leaps, you’re probably going to love Miss Travel.
